Animals.

We have a cat that stomps around the house when he is displeased about something (the "something" is usually "my bowl is frickin' empty" or "that frickin' cat I hate so much is outside"). We have a cat that is incredibly neurotic and runs away from the slightest sound, and will demand that Ian follow him upstairs to go to bed. We have a yellow spotted salamander that spends a lot of time hidden away, but now and then comes out and stares at me until I go find some worms or crickets. We had some fish, but they died. We have a spider that lives in the kitchen above the sink in a beautiful web and has convinced even the spider hater to bring her juicy flies. We have a tiny sweet baby corn snake that just moved in yesterday (he already loves his Girl).
