Positivity.

We sat down for dinner tonight. That hardly ever happens. There was a certain amount of loudness and throwing things, but overall, it was really nice. Nice enough to remind me to keep working to make our house more livable, to get rid of the piles and piles of useless junk. I've been waiting. Waiting for something to change so that the house would magically be a nice place to live.Waiting for life to need that. But we need that now, now while we are living here. I can't keep waiting to live. I need to remember how funny the guinea pigs are, how good it is to make soup, what a pleasure it is to sit down and read to the kids. Remember everything that makes up living a life. And then do it.
